Participatory Design/Build Work:

Two Houses

Displayed here are partial interiors of two fully designed houses--one a new house, the other an adaptive re-use of a barn--each the result of a process in which Richard Tremaglio participated hands-on with both clients and craftsmen on-the-job. His role as architect-teacher-builder included designing with clients a building framework which allowed for major formal and detail decisions to be made during construction.
